A: Thank you kindly for reaching out with your interest in volunteering at Technocopia. The best way to proceed is to contact our Volunteer Steward: volunteers@technocopia.org

Volunteering at Technocopia can mean cleaning and improving our facilities, running our front desk during classes, or serving as a technician to help repair one or more of our tools.

Please feel free to come join us at our free Open Hack event held every Thursday night at 7-9 pm. The maker community comes together and it could be a nice way to meet some people and learn about what goes on at Technocopia. Here is a link with more information and to register. https://technocopia.org/open-hacks

Q: Do you offer day passes?

A: Unfortunately, we can't do day passes. You need to be a member in order to use shops and tools at Technocopia and each member needs to get certified on equipment first so a day pass is not offered.

An alternative option would be to pay $40/hour for an instructor to do a private session with you. If you are interested in this option please contact us here: https://technocopia.org/contact

Q: Can I have something made / can you do a job for me?

A: Although Technocopia is not a fabrication “job shop”we could put your request out to our membership to see if someone wants to take the job.

We would have any interested, available people contact you.

If you are interested in this option please contact us here: https://technocopia.org/contact

Q: Can I request and schedule private classes?

A: Yes, you can send a request to schedule private sessions with Technocopia instructors.

If you are interested in this option please contact us here: https://technocopia.org/contact

A: We encourage using Eventbrite to register for any of our classes and, if needed, request a refund. We typically accept refund requests up to 24 hours prior to a class's scheduled time.

No refunds whatsoever are offered for same-day (or 24 hours before class start) cancellations or any classes that are already in progress. There are no refunds, transfers, make-ups or deferments for missed classes.

In the event of a class cancellation due to an instructor or weather related cancellation, all students will receive full refunds.

Q: Do you offer Business/Corporate Memberships?

A: Yes, we do offer Business Memberships which can be given to your employees as a perk or a team-building activity. We charge the standard rate for the first member ($105/month), and $75/mo for each additional user.
